Here's the result.
My Christmas card to everyone everywhere. Enjoy.
Christmas and Co.
My eyes, they flick open,
It’s the middle of night,
I should really close them,
Screwed up nice and tight,
In case I see Santa,
And Rudolph’s red light.
Pulling open an eye,
I see a startling red suit,
A bushy white beard,
And a pair of black boots,
Santa’s right here,
Distributing loot.
Nick’s filling up stockings,
Going Yo, Ho and Ho,
His movement’s like lightning,
He’s fat but not slow,
He’s dishing out toys,
Like at Christmas and Co.
Rudolph raps at the window,
He’s after a carrot,
The elf at his shoulder says,
“I’d like a parrot.”
Santa frowns; “Later for birdies!
Now for mince pies.”
Rudolph moans, “Get a move on,”
And lets out a sigh.
Santa’s eyes flick my way,
I clench my own tight,
When they open again,
Chris Kringle’s at flight,
Leaving sleigh trails of magic,
In the cold Christmas night.
